Physics Research Conference Speaker: Dr. Michael Peskin

Michael Peskin received his B.A. from Harvard in 1973 and his Ph. D. from Cornell University in 1978. After holding postdoctoral appointments at Harvard, Cornell, and CEN Scalay, he joined the faculty of the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center in 1982. With Daniel Schroeder, he the author of `An Introduction to Quantum Field Theory', which he understands is used as a junior-year physics textbook at Caltech.
